Boy meets girl, and boy loses girl--no more and no less than that--in this romantic story of young, upwardly mobile African Americans navigating through Chicago club culture to the perilous shores of a relationship. The film was surprisingly popular at a couple of key film festivals in 1997, but there isn't anything particularly noteworthy about it aside from its rare emphasis on a love affair between black urbanites.  Always a satisfying watch December 27, 2008
Gorgeous actors play black educated, artistic, sexy, witty, honest characters who are living their lives and relationships the best they can in a rainy, cold world full of rules that just don't always seem to make sense.

I love this movie. It's so realistic and well acted. I love those 'just-can't-you-go' type of love stories. "Love Jones" is a classic.

Love Jones is another movie I saw in the theatres, I loved it! It is a good movie recommended for lovers along with the other great love movies from the late 90's. Good love story made enjoy watching Love Jones:)

This movie is a classic .....and anyone who doesn't like this movie is sleep ..... it's different, smart, and shows Black people in a much needed light....I can relate to these characters because not all Black people are the same .... this movie shows Blacks in an intellectual light that some people aren't even used too.... they need to make more movies like this one .......
