 NO CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE TWO MAIN ACTORS... June 12, 2007

There's no chemistry between "April" and "Robert" (the main characters) and I think it is a veryyyyy boring film, not romantic but dull. Alex Sanders is a very hot guy but with no emotions on his face, does he ever laugh, smile, grunt, moan, ...????? He is like a robot with a six pack abs, I rather prefer Mark Davis, a hot guy and a good actor.
But the most important thing I have to say is: why is this an "erotic film for women"???? Do women like these kind of films?, I mean with no seduction and no foreplay?? In real life sex is sex and nothing else, but this is fiction, why it is so difficult to find a very erotic and romantic film at the same time (with good actors, of course)????

Pornography by definition is the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement. There are numerous items available on Amazon which could be considered pornographic in the books and video sections.
When it comes to films, pornography is loosely divided into two parts, softcore pornography, in which the sexual liaisons are assumed to be simulated and hardcore pornography, in which coitus. fellatio and cunnilingus actually take place and are graphically displayed and are often enhanced for the viewer.
There are many of the former type films available at Amazon and I have even written Guides and lists of many but until I came across Sex/Erotica for Women: Candida Royalle's One Size Fits All, I was unaware that anything resembling hardcore porn was available.
Sex/Erotica for Women: Candida Royalle's My Surrender is a story about a video producer, April Hunter (Jeanna Fine) who is attracted to a young architect but declines his advances in fear of being hurt. The films April produces are of customers acting out their fantasies in front of April's camera, with the finished product given to the participants; a memorial of their fantasy. The sex scenes consist of couples acting out their fantasies, to wit: a teacher spanking a naughty schoolgirl, a lady porn director auditioning her lead man, a wife and brother in law making love at the foot of the husband's casket. The final scene is April overcoming her reluctance and having an affair with Robert, her architect. The story is interesting and the action is strong. All couples are shown copulating (explicit) and or giving and receiving oral sex. Unfortunately some of the characters were not that attractive.
As far as hardcore is concerned this would probably be considered mild because there is nothing weird about the sex. No girl on girl and no sadomasochistic behavior, just straight sex. That's probably why it appeals to my wife and that's good enough for me.
Not Candida's Best Work, But Not Bad July 4, 2005

This is a bit of a let-down after Candida's "Sensual Escape", but a whole lot better than her "Stud Hunters".
The film had a reasonable plot and reasonable acting. The sets were, for the most part, plain, but functional. The cinematography was on par with Ms. Royalle's standard, that is to say it was very good.
I was somewhat surprised that there was a scene with an external ejaculation. I thought Candida didn't do this, but it was done in the context of a couple's fantasy, so it wasn't unnecessarily gratuitous.
In summary, this was a decent erotic film for couples to enjoy.

Finally a video that couples can watch as usually all videos are for men. Her tearful story of being afraid of love was a little long..but we can all fast forward!

Certainly Candida Royalle has developed an unsurpassed style of etheral, epic, and mesmerisingly beautiful visually surreal visual aesthetics yet to be matched witin the genre of erotic cinematography, as it is so much more... However, the equally and possibly more important element Candida Royalle has captured is the essence of how women's hearts, minds, souls and desires can be so strong, so fragile, so mysterious... yet if one is understanding and has certain awarenesses in regard to those respects, fulfillment within them all is what any woman desires most... and it is this aspect where Candida Royalle truly surpasses.All of her works of which could easily be cosidered art, intensely erotic as it certanly is, also is specifically "canvased" to teach understanding of the kind of treatment and fulfillment women deserve to have, and how to give women precisely everything within these realms. It is within this work where this point is made. Sure, it may not, or, very well may be equally as stunning to watch, if not for the dreamlike photography, but rather for emphasizing the importance of the purpose of her films and what they teach. No one else comes even close to Candida Royalle's cinematic brilliance. Surrender now and don't deny yourself this title... All have meanings beyond. Rather pleasurable indeed.
