A Perfect Children Movie September 2, 2008 My two nieces one who is three and the other will be two in November love this movie. The eldest loved the Big Wish Movie, and when I showed her this one at Target she begged me to buy it. Funshine Bear is one of her favorites so I agreed. Every other day she has to watch watch Wish Bear or Funshine Bear. I know some people have spoke about their children getting scared, but my nieces just sit and hum along with the songs. This is a great movie with a great message at the end.
Pretty Good August 2, 2008 My 2 year old son likes this movie, he seems to like Care Bears Big Wish better though. It's worth buying.
Totally Bizarre.. July 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Okay, my girls, 2 and 4 discovered the Care Bears recently with the Oopsy Does It video. They *loved* it. Sat completely silent through the whole movie just glued to the screen. Wow. They didn't seem as interested in the tv series, so when I found this movie, another with computer-generated Care Bears, I thought it would be a hit. Wrong. This movie is bizarre. Bizarre. It is a little scary, as someone else mentioned. Not at all light, happy and funny like Oopsy Does It. This was darker, eviler. Like this episode was directed by Tim Burton or something. Just weird.
Daughter loves this movie!! April 18, 2008 My Daughter is 2 and a half and absolutely loves this movie. The songs are very catchy and it is appropriate for all ages!!
Whether you love or hate this new take on Care Bears, I hope you will still enjoy this film. April 7, 2008 If you are looking for a fun movie to watch with your kids this one is a keeper. We purchased this movie for our toddlers and they love it.
The tunes "Joke-A-Lot Anthem" and "Here I'm A King" are great. My daughter and I love to dance along in our living room.
The story centers on themes of fitting in, knowing where you belong and home, may be over the head of younger kids.
You may see some reviewers not liking the fact that the movie is not all syrupy and sweet, but then again neither is life or the world. Plus..., it's just a movie after all.
Recommended.
Cheers!
