Customer Reviews: Another brilliant performance by Robson Green July 18, 2008 "Still She Cries" is the first episode of "Wire in the Blood" series 2, and a violent killer is once again haunting the streets of Bradfield. Tony Hill works close to the police, but little does he know that he soon will be incriminated in the most humiliating way. This is a gruesome and violent story of hatred and revenge, and it's really a superb episode. But most of all this is - as most episodes in all series - Robson Green's film. He portrays the intelligent and skillful - but socially handicapped - psychologist in a most unforgettable way, and his acting alone makes me want more and more. "Still She Cries" is another British masterpiece, not to be missed! With the trademark violence of this series represented in large part symbolically, Tony Hill (Robson Green's character) is faced with a killer on the loose, a patient who cannot remember where she buried the bodies of the children she killed five years before, and a troubled student. Green gives another good performance of a seriously off kilter psychologist (he's totally competent as a psychologist, it's his personal life that needs some serious adjusting). Green's character usually seems on the edge of a meltdown, pulling back at the very last minute. Lots of clever camera work and some nice music give this one a bit of Scott Ridley flavor at times.
